Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, the American screen and stage actor and producer. She is best known as an actress in films for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She received an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis, an American actor and producer who has performed in theatre and TV and films as and is active on both sides of the screen. Her career began as an actress in theatre and then went on to make appearances in numerous TV series, mainstream and independent films. The actress was famous for her role as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's huge The Book of Negroes. Both series received major critical acclaim, but she also received a number of accolades. Her debut on stage as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway show that Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Film-wise she is most famous for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her role as a regular in ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
