Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as fourteen years old. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her in an unanimous decision. This put the mark of a loss on Aspen's record in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took her next bout against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills took down McGill as she was able to stop her third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy through TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina through her ground and pound tactics and earned the TKO second-round victory. Ladd continued to dominate and scored an even impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after some great exchanges between the two fighters, was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The decision was made unanimously against her.
