Her birthplace was in Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo and her maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. Her family relocated from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was just six years old. The school she attended was Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. After graduating at Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the school. A violinist since age 4"Violingirl" was her nickname. In recognition of her skills the violinist was referred to by this name. She gave violin lessons for children from the neighborhood. In the six season of American Idol, she sang Free in the year 1976, at which time she was nineteen. However she was eliminated after reaching 16th position on the show.
