Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist, an author and the anchor of CNN's morning show "New Day." She lives in Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's board trustees. Camerota's 30 years of journalistic experience has seen her write stories across the country and in other countries. She has won the Edward R. Murrow Award as well as an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford is now an honorary board participant after having served on the board for more than seven months. Anna Czekaj Farber, who currently serves as chair of the Westport board, having been as a board member since 2013, is a new board member. Czekaj Farber will replace Barbara Streicker, a Westport resident, who was the board's chairperson since October 2015. The board chair continues to serve as board chair, since 2006.
